This beautiful brooch was inspired by the workmanship and craftsmanship of the hilts of the Japanese swords and this influenced Arno Malinowski to produce his 'Iron & Silver' range of jewellery and other items during the Second World War. Denmark's silver stocks were almost depleted as the importing of this precious metal was prevented during that time. This range of jewellery was the perfect solution and also produced wornderful collector's items.
