David Andersen (1843-1901) founded his company in Oslo, Norway in 1876. He was a Goldsmith & Silversmith with a keen sense of quality and high standards of workmanship which brought him early success. His son, Arthur, took over the firm in 1901 and is it is now run by the members of the 4 th generation, Vin and Jon David-Andersen, who carried on the traditions of their founders.
Throughout its long history, David-Andersen company has always kept pace with changing times and artistic trends, over time they have produced beautiful and finely crafted jewellery and objects in styles ranging from Naturalism, Art Nouveau, Art Deco to Modernism.
