Note: This lovely moonstone and silver bracelet & necklace set, names the 'Seed & Pod' design, is a beautiful example of Georg Jensen's work. He gained his inspiration from the flora & fauna of the countryside around the town of Radvad where he was born in 1866 and grew up. He spent his formative years playing in the woods and fields surrounding his home. As a little boy he made models out of the mud he found when playing, and these gained him much praise, so his career as a sculptor and silversmith was begun.
He was able to breathe life into inaminate materials and made them into his own unique works of art. These are now loved and admired all over the world.
